This graph shows the mean IMDb Rating by its Rating. The termonoligy here is a little tedius but the attempt was to see if putting more mature content into a movie affect how highly people tended to rate it. I about predicted what was observed. My thinking was that bad ratings often come from peoples disagreement with whether or not a movie is too explicit for the audience attracted by its assigned rating, so it makes sense that its highest at is absolute edges, though I did expect more of a recovery at 'R'
An ANOVA resulting in a P value < 0.0001 showed that at least one of these groups is significantly different
The next graph shows the mean Box Office as a response to what a movie is Rated. I predicted a bit of a slope downward as movies get less and less accessible, but I was not expecting such a steep drop-off, nor such a large difference between the groups.
An ANOVA resulting in a P value < 0.0001 showed that at least one of these groups is significantly different
